Welcome to the “heart” of ViK Guitars dominion. In this section you’ll get all the needed information about the way I craft my guitars. The shop is currently located in the city of Minsk, Belarus, Europe and it’s actually run by one person – master-luthier Vyacheslav Kuletski (ViK). Thus all the guitars coming out of the shop – whenever it’s a Custom Shop one of a kind exclusive or a stock “serial” model – are all handcrafted by ViK with all possible attention and quality you can only imagine. One of the main ViK Guitars’ policies is (and it’s always been) to use as much handwork (and avoid machines) as only possible. This is a fundamental and applies to every ViK guitar ever produced. And it’s very rare to meet these days as nearly every manufacturer on the market uses real “live” people for processing only a few simple procedures like sanding or assembling and all the rest is done by machines. Handwork is a long and hard way to go but this is the only way to get not just an instrument but a masterpiece. Being quite progressive in development and research ViK Guitars’ policy was always conservative in woods choice. I found the ways to bring the sound and appearance of every ViK guitar to such a perfect level as it can only wisely be reached without falling deep into exotics or similar. That’s why the absolute most of ViK models are made of traditional but highly rated woods like Honduran mahogany, white and swamp ash, korina (limba), rosewood, ebony, spruce and maple mostly coming from Canada, Africa and USA. Great experience in selecting and mixing woods, this is what makes every ViK model unique and brilliant in reliability, tone and response. Here at ViK Guitars crafting a guitar was always an art, not just a job. That’s probably why most of the guitars ever crafted by ViK were of a custom design, specifically developed for every particular project from a scratch. Some of those custom designs have finally turned into ViK Guitars models and today they successfully spread the world blowing minds with progressive highly aesthetic appearance full of style and inner harmony.

Nice to meet you!
